A night of Raga, Turkish Beats, Cabaret, Disco, Electro Folk and Hip Hop at Jamboree...
Djanan Turan is a singer songwriter and producer of Turkish origin, based in London. She has a 5 piece band formed of Paul Tkachenko (bass) Dan Lipman (sax/clarinet/flute), Fatih Ebrem (guitar), Tansay Omar (drums) and Djanan herself (vocals/keys), drawing on various influences from raga to Turkish beats, cabaret to disco.
Toytown are Kai 'Cat Face' Carter (guitar/vox), Monni (drums), Robyn Hemmings (double bass), Rufus (trombone) and Tim 'The Beard' (clarinet), playing a dreamy, surreal and wonderful brand of jazz-inflected pop, electro folk and hip hop.
